Unexpected British Somalian party celebrating the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) last night in north east London.

This was among the key things I am looking for this trip. Small active communities. It’s amazing what they’ve built here with people near. And far.

From before, I’ve heard about this and these lights when I was in Tareem and also Kuala Lumpur. Therefore what you hear, and what you see in this video for example, shouldn’t be measured and valued in the same way as others. After all this is light that can be seen, and also be heard.

What then parties of light?

A disco for the watching angels.

Angels who in the heavens speak of those humans illuminating the dance floors of remembrance on earth.

Come dance then, lest our hearts forget.
