The essence though is the message.
And calligraphy is amazing. It truly is.
Despite the many lost of sacred art and not to mention other sacred manifestations of Islam, calligraphy is still there. There are sufficient shops today selling painted, stitched and printed works of calligraphy.
It costs.
So knowing that such messages are not exclusive to those with money, or skill of the art which expresses it, how then it is manifested?
Don’t let perfection be the good of evil. Don’t let consumerism prevent the message. Don’t not do it yourself.
Here’s one of many simple ones I’ve seen here. This was inside a fairly small ‘slaughterhouse’ and butcher. They didn’t even use the standard rhyme and just went with it.
It says in red, you inside the place send salutations upon the Chosen One.
