Khatam the Qur’an for Beginners. Round Two.
This Ramadhan, I am part of a WhatsApp group called Khatam al-Quran for Beginners.
I’d like to invite you to join this group.
We keep it light. What we do is each person commits to reading at least one page (instead of one juz). They write the page(s) they want to read in the group, and the next person will read the next page(s). Page numbers are determined by chronology from beginning of al-Quran.
Each person can read on their own, in their own time, place and pace.
Right now we have already completed one full reading and are currently on second round. Who knows we may get to do three rounds before Ramadhan ends.
If you’d like to join, let me know and I’ll get the admin to add you into the WhatsApp group. Send me your whatsapp number via private message.
*Btw, feel free to adapt this idea. You don’t necessarily have to job this group if you like this idea. You can start your own group with tour own set of family, friends, neighbours, colleagues, strangers or a mix of either – as what we did. Message me if you want to know details of how to administer your own group.
