Pic was at @isaaq.mohammed ‘s place in November I think when I attended a book club of young men. Remarkable.
One of them apparently mentioned to Isaaq about how he never gets to finish reading a book. And wonders how it’s done. Isaaq replies ‘same for me. Let’s start reading together.’

Started in his bedroom.
Once a week.
Now the WhatsApp group has about 40 people and in average twenty will attend each week. They rotate houses and have completed a handful of books.
I maintain from before that be it dakwah or community work, the essence, is never complicated. Nor sophisticated.
When it becomes so, it means we’ve lost the essence. Smoke without fire.
