If you’re looking for a gig, a Ramadhan gig, this is one that seekers come out to.
I’ve not attended this for the past few years as I was away. But in so far as I remembered, it’s quite an atmosphere.
And in great part it is due to those who come. Because they’re all seeking not just for the Night of Power only, but the taste of Ramadhan.
Break fast. Maghrib. Dinner. Dhikr. Incense. Perfumes. Terawih. Coffee. Snacks. Poetry pumping on the speakers…
The organisers have been doing this gathering, on this date, annually for twenty years perhaps. It grew from a simple do at home to what it has become.
The organisers are essentially my family.
So do come. You’re welcomed to our home.
