Tonight is 27th of Ramadhan. Each year, since the late 90s, I’m at an event commemorating this special evening. It is an evening where you’ll feel the pumped up energy of Ramadhan in this part of the world.
It has the khatam al-Qur’an, terawih prayers and others. It’s the same. But it’s also different. It’s for experience. Not description. Surely sweetness is reserved for those who taste.
It starts at 7.30pm and ends by midnight. Some people come late in order to stay till the end, as that is when the atmosphere gets exciting. This year it will be near TTDI. As always, it is open to public.
